The Abortion Survivors Network Announces Five Global Ambassadors to their Program
WASHINGTON, D.C. —- Today, The Abortion Survivors Network, which is the only advocacy organization dedicated to babies who have survived an abortion and their families, announces their Global Ambassadors and Ambassador Program. The Ambassadors who are located in the U.S., give a voice to abortion survivors around the world who seek to raise awareness and educate others on the sanctity of life. The Ambassador Program provides training, mentoring and opportunities for advocacy for adults who survived abortion attempts.
The Abortion Survivors Network challenges misconceptions, shares compelling data, and amplifies personal stories that refute the notion that “abortions don’t fail” and “there’s no such thing as an abortion survivor.” By shedding light on this important topic, we aim to counter the prevailing pro-choice narrative and empower the voices of abortion survivors, their mothers, and their families. We are grateful to announce our new ambassadors to help spread the word that babies do survive abortions.
The following people have been named as Ambassadors for 2023-2024:
Lauren Eden-Georgia
Rose Fenchel-New Jersey
Michelle Lyman-Oregon and Tennessee
Kim Marvin-Washington
Michele Smith-Louisiana
“Our mission is to end the generational trauma of abortion by saving survivors at the first chance of intervention by serving mothers and supporting families, and I am thrilled that we have named our Ambassadors for the 2023-24 year. I feel that they have so much to offer to others and this is an opportunity for them to tell their story,” says Melissa Ohden, President and Founder of The Abortion Survivors Network.
“It’s an honor to be selected as an ambassador for The Abortion Survivors Network – an organization that has truly changed my life. Abortion survivors’ stories matter now more than ever before, especially at a time when our nation is so divided over the issue. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to partner with ASN and this year’s ambassador team to create even more awareness about abortion and to show the world the faces and stories of abortions survivors like me. I can’t think of a greater mission than raising awareness about the value of every human life,” says Lauren Eden, Ambassador for The Abortion Survivors Network.
